Meeting Room Rental in Karachi: What to Check

A SpaceShare meeting room with a boardroom table and a display screen

You do not need an office. You need a room, for two hours, that does not have a cafe’s espresso machine going off behind you while you present.

That is what meeting room rental in Karachi is for — and it is the cheapest piece of professional infrastructure a small business can buy, because you only pay for it on the days you actually meet someone.

When renting a room beats meeting at a cafe

Cafes work until they don’t. Rent a proper room when:

  • A client is deciding whether to trust you. The room is part of the pitch.
  • You are interviewing. Candidates judge you back, and a cafe interview reads as an unserious company.
  • You need a screen. Passing a laptop around a table is not a presentation.
  • The conversation is confidential. Salaries, contracts, anything with numbers in it.
  • You need it recorded or on video. Background noise ruins the recording, and a cafe wall is a bad backdrop.

What to check before you book

Seats — and the honest number. Rooms get advertised at the number of chairs that physically fit, not the number of people who can sit and open a laptop. Ask what it comfortably seats, then book one size up if you are pitching.

The screen. Confirm there is a display and, more importantly, what it takes — HDMI, USB-C, or a dongle you will need to bring. Ten minutes of cable archaeology at the start of a meeting is ten minutes of your pitch.

Internet that holds a call. If anyone is joining remotely, the room needs the same connection quality as the desks. Ask.

Whiteboard. Underrated. Most decisions in a good meeting get made standing at one.

Parking for the people you invited. Your guests are the ones who will struggle, not you. Check that there is on-site parking before you send the calendar invite.

How booking actually works. Can you book for this afternoon, or does it need a day’s notice? Is it billed hourly? Can you extend if the meeting runs over?

How many seats do you actually need?

Where to book one at SpaceShare

Our meeting rooms are bookable by the hour rather than locked into a monthly plan, and they come with a boardroom table, a display screen for presentations, a whiteboard and the same high-speed internet as the rest of the floor.

They are available at all four branches — DHA Phase 6, DHA Phase 8, Bahria Town Tower on Tariq Road, and The Forum in Clifton — so you can pick whichever is easiest for the person you are meeting to reach, which is usually the right way round to think about it.

If you need something bigger than a boardroom table, our rooftop SkyView Space handles parties of 50–70.

Need a room this week? Message us on WhatsApp with the date, the time and how many people, and we will confirm availability at the branch nearest you.
